Player’s Code of Ethics
1. Play for the “Fun of it”, and not just to please parents and coaches
2. Play by the rules
3. Never argue with an official. If you disagree, have your captain approach the official
when appropriate
4. Control your temper. Verbal abuse of officials or other players, deliberately infringing or
provoking an opponent and throwing equipment is not acceptable or permitted in any
sport
5. Work equally hard for yourself and your team. Your team’s performance will benefit,
and so will you
6. Be a good sport. Cheer all good plays whether they be your teams or the other team

Summer Competition Week 2

The second week of Summer Comp kicked off to a great start with the rain staying away long enough for the games to run. We have two new teams which started this week Just Chillin and Cougars. It looks like we will have another 2 teams coming into the competition next week.

There is still time to nominate so if you would like to put in a team or are a single player looking for a team then email: gladstonenetball@hotmail.com by Friday this week.

Mixed Team Competition - Rocky

At this stage details are not confirmed but teams wanting to flex their muscles against other Mixed teams with in the Capricorn Region will have their chance. Rocky Netball Association will be holding a Mixed Comp on 20 or21 November - Date to be confirmed. As the date gets closer we will have more information....
